The Bass Festival Denver Drives Out For
90 Minutes Up US-285 Into the High Desert
August 13-16, 2026 | Hartsel, Colorado
Denver is a bass town — warehouse nights, club legends, a Front Range that knows how to throw down. Badger is the bass festival that crowd points its cars toward: 90 minutes up US-285 into the high plains, where the low end has room to roam and the only neighbors are the stars.
We've always lived out here in Hartsel at 9,000 feet, and the altitude is on our side. Thin desert air moves sub-bass differently — drops land heavier and the whole valley turns into one big speaker cabinet. Deep dubstep, drum & bass, experimental low end, staged under a sky with no ceiling.
Leave the cover charges, the traffic, and the 2am last call behind. Pitch a tent, find your people, and let three days of bass rearrange something you forgot was loose. It's a short drive from the city — and a long way from anything that feels like it. The meteor shower's part of the deal.
