A Colorado Bass Festival Built by Weirdos, for Weirdos
Low End in the High Desert
August 13-16, 2026 | Hartsel, Colorado
Badger is a Colorado bass festival, technically — but that word undersells it the way "some lights" undersells the Milky Way. Out here at 9,000 feet in the high plains desert, the low end doesn't just play. It moves through the dirt, up through your boots, and rearranges something in your chest you forgot was loose.
Colorado's bass scene was never drafted in a boardroom. It grew up around campfires and questionable sound rigs, passed hand to hand by people who'd rather build the thing than wait for permission. Badger carries that lineage — dragged up a mountain, pointed at the stars, and run by the same artists who show up to dance.
No commercial festival matrix. No rope lines sorting the cool from the paying. Just a temporary desert family, a wall of speakers, and three days where the line between performer and participant is a polite suggestion we joyfully ignore. Bring your low end. The mountain's been waiting.
